Books About Books

Books About Books is a collection of experimental publications, designed in response to my interviews with women concerned with book arts. Each conversation determines the concept and the look of the book.

In response to my conversation with Billie and my afterthoughts, I designed a richly playful publication, articulating my views on the inaccessibility of many artist’s books today. Its unusually-sewn pages protect its content and encourage a battle with its structure—it is an object made to be handled. The reader is forced to pick apart its thread to play, to read, to learn.
